Hello, I'm Ashley.
Ashley Ferguson
Ashley grew up in her grandfather's antique store, which is a pretty wonderful place to spend a childhood. She learned early that the pieces people love are rarely the most expensive ones, and that a good room is really just a collection of things that have earned their spot.
She spent ten years in Bermuda running a small shop of her own, then came home to Texas and started Ashley Ferguson Interiors in Austin. The idea was simple: make homes that feel timeless and a little bit luxurious, but never precious. Houses you actually live in. She calls it new age timeless, and it is less a style than a habit of mixing what is old and what is new until it feels like it was always meant to be together.
Most days you will find her on a job site or at the studio with Vince and Maggie, working out the details that make a house feel finished. She is the first to say the best ideas often come from the client, the builder, or the thing nobody planned for. Her job is to notice them and know what to do next.
Off the clock: golf, flea markets, and four kids who have strong opinions about all of it.
Where we work
We are based in Austin, Texas, and we work wherever the project is. That has meant homes across Austin and the Hill Country, a new build in Nashville, and a growing list of places in between. Texas, out of state, a second home somewhere you escape to. We are happy to travel, and we pack light.
How a project runs
Consultation. We walk the house, talk about how you actually live (not how the listing photos said you live), and agree on scope and budget before anyone draws a line.
Design. Floor plans, finishes, furniture, lighting, drapery. One cohesive package, presented all at once, so you see the whole house instead of a hundred separate decisions.
Manage. We stay on the project through construction, working with your builder and trades so the design makes it from the drawings into the house intact.
Install. Furniture, drapery, art and the last candlestick go in over a few days. You come home to a finished house. Yes, really.
